ILRAJ admits interns from Sierra Leone and around the world. Under this programme, young skilled and motivated individuals who have a passion for Youth Justice human rights and international law and have an interest in joining the ILRAJ team to further the mission and vision of the organization are given the opportunity to do so. The purpose of the internship is to provide an opportunity for individuals to substantively contribute to and learn from our work. The intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience. The intern is expected to be flexible and to take part in various activities at the office and sometimes in the field.
The organization recognizes and respects diversity in its recruitment process. We are looking for interns who are committed, hard-working, positive, open-minded, reflective and willing to learn.
Subject to availability of budget, internships are on a voluntary basis, and no payment is provided. In some cases, travel costs may be reimbursed. This needs to be agreed by mutual consent.
